Meet the Practitioners
Tracy Perkins
VNS Practitioner and Training Provider
Having been in the piercing industry for over 20 years, Tracy has, during this time, been at the forefront of educating piercers, designing new specialist tools for piercing and managing a dedicated piercing training centre in Manchester. She is now working full time on VNS Daith in seven clinics, including the only medical clinic in the UK to offer it as a treatment for migraine.
Tracy is currently developing the training programme for VNS Daith and expanding the clinic network to make VNS Daith piercing available in more UK cities.
Nadia Faucher
VNS Practitioner, Notting Hill, London
Following life’s journey of rollercoasters I began to explore methods of self-healing from the past and present, which led me to undertake a Reiki Level I, II and Master/Teacher course in 2015, to which I am now a member of the International Reiki Organisation following successful completion in 2017.
I have always had a long standing desire to practice Alternative Therapies, so following the birth of my second child I decided to resign from my long term career in Education and the Social Care Sector and used this opportunity to retrain with Bodyology Massage School, which enabled me to practice and live my dream as a Holistic Therapist.
I continue to expand my services and fully trained as a VNS Daith Practitioner now offering this highly effective medical treatment at the Notting Hill Therapy Clinic, West London along side auricular acupuncture (AcuDetox) using 5 points in the ear to support the health and wellbeing of the North Kensington Community.
Denny Berfield

On leaving school at 16, I began my working life as a copy typist. After various secretarial/admin roles in the City of London, it felt like life was passing me by. I took time off for travelling around South East Asia when I was about 30. On my return I entered the Fitness Industry. Now I was living the life I yearned for after all those years in mundane office work.
I acquired many fitness qualifications (aerobics, aqua, dance, weights, pilates and yoga). I went to India for my yoga teacher training, to experience a deeper authentic understanding of it. The vegas nerve plays a massive part in the healing and rejuvenation aspects of yoga and knowing that, I jumped at the opportunity to train under Tracy Perkins as a VNS Daith Piercing Therapist, to become one of her team. I have a passion to help people heal and get fit. Another fun loving thing I enjoy is drumming. I hold drum therapy workshops and circles, which is also reviving to the nervous system. I am grateful and blessed.
Lesley Hill

My background is in social work and more specifically working in child protection services at various levels. I have been in this line of work for nearly 30 years and knew I had to change things. I started training at university to become a chiropractor so I already had a good idea about the vagus nerve (cranial nerve X) as we have to learn about the 12 pairs of cranial nerves along with their function and deficits. Therefore, when I observed the testing for the uvula lift (connected to cranial nerve IX, Glossopharyngeal) it made perfect sense to me as cranial nerves IX and X are very closely linked within the throat and back of the tongue.
I have also trained and qualified in Person-Centred Counselling and Psychotherapy and as part of this I have done a lot of work on myself as a person to hopefully help me be a better human being all round.
